The Mallard duck ‘’Excellence MIERAL’’ is slaughtered during the hunting season (September/November).
It grows up on Bresse fields at Bresse chicken farms during 20 to 22 weeks.

It eats herbs, roots, insects, molluscs, natural proteins then cereals and milk by the end of its life.
Its flesh is brown and mature.

We decided to develop this duck farming in order to have a better control of duck evolution from its birth to its death. It helps us to offer a better consistency and quality to chefs.

Indeed it’s very difficult to control size, age, meat quality and consistency on wild Mallard ducks.
